A seat in the sun.

Ah, normal service has been resumed. A scene from a lovely cove near me with a little adjustment here and there.

Totems

More American classics, This time utterly rusted apart from the chrome. I had in mind a totem pole as well as a junk yard.

The 1950's Detroit Chrome Orchestra Company

Just monkeying around with classic 50's Americana. These things happen!!

Tears Before Eight

Excuse the pun. Yet more inspiration from my forthcoming dinner. Delicate skins and stark winter light - great fun to paint. Gouache on board.

Nature Takes Over

Common theme in my work. It was a work shop once - it's now a wildlife park. Gouache on board.

Ordinary Life

Inspired by deserted Irish stately homes and the timeless atmosphere.

Nature reclaiming the work of man, no matter how high and mighty; and a hint of squatters - the other end of the spectrum. Gouache.

Approaching Rain

Bright sunlit leaves against a stormy sky, seen on my way to my mum at St Just. Gouache.

Onion Skins On Blue

Mucking about with veg. Gouache on board.

Tawny Owlet with Tools

Friends in France rescued this owl; it's feeding well, on mice, at the moment. Trying to combine twee with modernism. Gouache.

Churn

Another facet of the same old barn - on my parents' property - a combination of the old and new growth. Gouache on board.

This has now been sold.

Hole in the Wall

Part of a very old barn on my parents' property, nature gradually degrades what man builds. Gouache on board.

Mould

Another addition to the collection, 'Mould' is actually two separate paintings that complement one another.

Framed separately but hinged together - so you can hang them on the wall or stand them freely on the floor. Gouache on board.

This painting can be viewed at the New Craftsman Gallery in St Ives, Cornwall.
